its not clearly contacts

i was never a fan of clearly contacts (and i'm still not), however, i recently found an alternative | bonlook. it's not an endorsement but i can't help but share. they have some pretty cute frames and manage the male/female sizing issues other sites may not… here is their tortoise aviator|

oliver peoples | happy 25th

lovely specs from oliver peoples. California-based Oliver Peoples has hit the big 2-5 and to celebrate, they designed a small capsule collection that’s made in Japan and available in limited numbers. The four styles include the Myriel, NDG Flip Clip, Florenz 46 and J Gold, with each piece made with the utmost care and detail. they're are truly vintage and ben purchased them a bit ago. well done ben.

samuel meets brutus

i had the privledge to meet owner and 'winer' of megalomaniac on the weekend. john howard is a prolific character with style, class and a wry sense of humour… and an amazing palette. he's the 'ego' behind megalomaniac wines in niagara.

anyway, not only did i fall in love with this wine but i also feel in love with his glasses (also cutler and gross). i named them brutus.

john (with brutus) and me (with samuel)

introducing … samuel

yes, that's right. my new pair of specs has a name. his name is samuel. he's cool, different and smooth. family of origin: cutler and gross.

i fell in love with these specs a year and a half ago. while i loved them i also thought i couldn't pull them off. after a recent trip to scandinavia i decided i would take a chance on them. i'm so happy i did.

here they are...
